Kim - Salon Owner and Senior Beauty and Spa Therapist

I trained with the Joyce Blok School of Beauty Therapy in Auckland in 1989 qualifying in Beauty, Body Therapies/Massage and Electrolysis.

I continued with post graduate courses for body therapies in Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, Introductory Shiatsu, Cranial therapy, Reiki level 1,lymphatic/slimming massage and Pregnancy Massage. Other post graduate courses have been in Advanced Electrolysis, Intensed Pulse Light therapies and Fine Vein Cauterisation.
Post graduate courses within the cosmoceutical field have been in Advanced Skin Analysis and Cosmetic Chemistry which assist in the better understanding of Skin conditions and how to utilise the new technology within our skin care products and treatments for best effect.

I have worked continually as a Beauty/Spa therapist since graduating and  developed Tonic Spa in 2000. My enthusiasm for the Beauty industry is evident, in fact I am continually excited by the new advancements in treatments and technology. 
Having developed a large and loyal clientele over the years I now however, no longer take on new clients. Instead I enjoy teaching and encouraging the Therapists who work with me to continue their post graduate learning, to be the best therapists they can be.
I now work full time on managing and growing Tonic Spa into one of Auckland's Premiere Boutique Beauty Spas.

Maree - Senior Beauty & Spa Therapist.  Spa operations manage

I trained at The Beauty Therapy College of NZ in 2006 qualifying in Beauty, Body Therapies/Massage and Electrolysis.  I have continued with post graduate training in Slimming massage, Hot stone massage, Intense Pulsed Light Therapies, Micro needling and Buccal Facial Massage.

Post graduate courses within the cosmeceutical field being Advanced Skin Analysis.  I have worked with our great team here at Tonic for over 18 years what started out as a job has become a full time passion! I have a beautiful young daughter and son.

Rosie-  Senior Beauty and Spa Therapist

I trained in Beauty, Body Therapies and Electrolysis at the College of Camille, graduating in 2014, where I was awarded Student of the Year.  After graduating I worked as Therapist in an inner city spa, followed by an adventure working internationally on a cruise ship. Post grad training in Micro needling, IPL and Pregnancy massage.

I joined the Tonic team in 2016 and am very excited to be home and experiencing a new side to the community in which I’ve spent most of my life. I enjoy all aspects of Beauty Therapy, in particular skincare and nail work.

Millie - Beauty and Spa Therapist

I graduated from Elite School of Beauty and Spa in 2024, gaining my level 5 Diploma in Beauty Therapy and my CIDESCO international qualification.  Previously i studied at AUT working towards a Bachelor of Health Science but decided I wanted to change paths. In my spare time I like to play social netball with friends and go for walks on the weekend. I'm loving working at Tonic Spa so far and can't wait to learn more during my time here.
