Tonic Skin & Bodycare dominate Sothys national awards

The Sothys Professional Skincare national convention and awards was recently held at the beautiful and historic Heritage Hotel in the Thermal resort town of Hanmer Springs in the South Island.
Over 80 Spa and salon owners attended the weekend’s conference where they were treated to a variety of Guest speakers, new product and treatment innovations and the main event being the Awards dinner held on the Saturday night.

Much excitement had been building before the awards dinner, with 25 Spa owners in total being nominated for the four separate award categories of Best Sothys Make up Salon, Most Improved Business, Best New Sothys Business and the main event, Sothys Supreme Spa.

Kim and Julian from Tonic Skin and Bodycare were nominated as finalists in three out of the four categories, for Best Make up Salon, Most improved Business and the top award of Supreme Sothys Spa, an incredible achievement in itself.

However the big moment came when Tonic were announced as the National Sothys Supreme Spa for 2007/08. This result was entirely deserved and the joy and emotion was obvious when Kim and Julian came forward to except the award from Sothys Paris International delegate Jean-Louis Pollentier.

This award of Sothys Supreme Spa goes to that business that has achieved outstanding sales results and demonstrates and exemplifies the quality, professionalism and attention to detail that Sothys Paris demands.

Well done Kim and Julian, you thoroughly deserve this accolade, it is no wonder you have such a strong and devoted cliental.
